Gary EwerA musician and great guy I’ve been following on Twitter for quite a long time, Patrick McNease (a.k.a. @PtheWyse) asked if he could interview me for his website, He sent me a short list of some very good questions, and I hope you might take a moment to have a read.

You can read the interview here. The questions he asked:

  1. First and foremost, who is Gary Ewer and what made you gravitate towards the art of songwriting?
  2. I recently read one of your blog posts and you stated that writer’s block is not caused by a lack of inspiration. Would you mind expounding on this idea?
  3. I have started researching good songs and I have found that good songs usually resonate with the audience. Based on your experience what are the core elements to a good song?
  4. What is Gary Ewer’s favorite song of all-time?
  5. You have a 6-eBook Bundle titled The Essentials Secrets of Songwriting. Which eBook took the longest to write?

Thanks to Patrick for the invitation to do the interview. I hope you take the time to browse his website. Lots of good information for musicians, including other interviews, The Ultimate Hip-Hop Blog Directory, and 39 Amazing Ways to Market Your Album In a Week or Less.

I really would like you get Finale or Ableton and show how one can compose a song. I enjoy reading your advice.

  2. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer the questions. I love your expertise in regards to songwriting.
